How Can I Find A Partner/collaborator For An Online Business?

Filed under: Find Niches.I have been living in East Asia for several years and have a concept for a type of niche online service/community that has been quite popular in the states but not really present in this market. I don’t expect that it would take much funding to start up and I’m willing to invest my own money, but it would requre a substantial development effort from a talented web developer/designer. The trouble is that I don’t have any such contacts and don’t have any entrepreneurially-minded acquaintances. Theoretically the site developer could be located anywhere, but trust and commitment are big worries. Does anyone have any advice on how I could move this idea forward?
